Exhibitions
The County Museum's permanent exhibitions use toys,
domestic items, costume, transport, craftwork and archaeology to
explore the history of our county. Rooms such as the scullery
and schoolroom are regularly brought to life by visiting
schoolchildren and the Victorian and Civil War rooms give a glimpse
into times gone by.
Temporary exhibitions are also held
throughout the year so there is always something new to see!
In recent years the Museum has been working hard to update
our museum displays and produce new permanent exhibitions
that tell our visitors more about our county and how important
Worcestershire was in the development of things that were new
concepts not so long ago, for example the importance of a healthy
lifestyle and the benefits of travel and holidays.
Our newest exhibition areas explore the geological wonders of
Worcestershire, it’s agricultural history and the importance of
water to the region
