Stewards Chemist Shop

Worcester has had many chemist shops, but only this one has been dismantles piece by piece and moved to the Museum!
On the first TUESDAY of each months, 11.00am - 3.00pm the doors will be open for you to take a peek inside and hear the fascinating story of how it came from the High Street.

October Half Term Activities

Saturday 25th October - Saturday 1 November

Help us celebrate the BIG Draw this half term. Sketch your favourite creatures from our natural history collection

  • FREE activities suitable for families all week
  • No booking required

Tuesday 28 October

Halloween Mobiles. Make tissue paper pumpkins and pipe cleaner witches complete with twig broomsticks

  • Suitable for 5 - 12 year olds. 
  • Cost £4.50 per child

Saturday 8th November

Family World War One - remembrance activities. Joint artist Kate Brookes , Fergus the Poet, Discover History and the Stringcredibles in a day of FREE activities, suitable for all the family.

  • 11am - 4pm
  • No booking required, these events run throught the day.

Spaces for workshops are limited, so booking is essential.

To book a place please contact the Gallery on 01905 25371 or call in at the Art Gallery Desk.

  • Workshop Costs: £4.50 per child or £6.50 per Adult. (special family rates available – please ask for details)

The Activity Space

Based in the heart of the Museum and Art Gallery, the Children’s Activity Space is a lovely bright and welcoming place for all the family. Use the materials provided to create your own masterpiece and just sit and watch the children have fun! The Activity Space is available for hire at certain times, for more information please contact the Visitor Services Manager on 01905 25371.
