A changing programme of displays, projects and events in the old library space; exploring themes from the Natural World.  Be inspired by gorgeous artworks, journey through layers of local geology and don't miss the conservation of the newly acquired Bredon Hill Roman Coin Hoard.

Britain has a love affair with the pub, but this goes way beyond it being a place to go get a drink.  They are a focal point for the community, a place to meet friends, socialise and laugh and an intrinsic part of British culture, community and identity.  This exhibition explores Worcester's history through its pubs, publicans and regulars and their fascinating history.  Come prop up our bar and enjoy A Pint in the Museum.

22 June – 31 August 2013

This blockbuster exhibition will allow visitors to investigate the truth behind some of the popular myths about ancient Egypt.  Did aliens build the pyramids? What was the mummy's curse? Were the Egyptians obsessed with death?

The displays bring together incredible objects from some of the most important Egyptian collections in the country.  A touring exhibition from the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum, Coventry and Birmingham Museums Trust.

26 October – 1 February 2014

Joseph Beuys was one of the most influential artists of the late 20th century, a political activist and philosopher who believed in the social function of art. A childhood fascination with the natural world provided the themes that Beuys would spend his career exploring, across a vast body of work ranging from drawing to performance.Watch out for special events and activities alongside the exhibition, celebrating Beuys' belief that Everyone is an Artist.

ARTIST ROOMS On Tour is an inspired partnership with the Art Fund - the fundraising charity for works of art, making available the ARTIST ROOMS collection of international contemporary art to galleries throughout the UK. ARTIST ROOMS is jointly owned by Tate and National Galleries of Scotland and was established through The d’Offay Donation in 2008, with the assistance of the National Heritage Memorial Fund, the Art Fund and the Scottish and British Governments.
